Vaginal rejuvenation
Vaginal rejuvenation or vaginoplasty is a surgical procedure that tightens the vaginal muscles and surrounding soft tissues, reducing excess vaginal mucosa, in order to rejuvenate and narrow the vagina.
This technique is specially indicated in women that have had multiple childbirths or that due to ageing, develop laxity in the walls of the vagina or loss of tension of the muscles around the vagina. This laxity is often associated with urinary incontinence and a loss of strength in the pelvic floor, which may negatively impact the quality of intimate relations both for the female as well as for her partner.

Dr. Bravo often combines vaginal surgery with a Perineoplasty procedure, in order to strengthen and reconstruct the musculature of the perineal area, which is often damaged or weakend after a vaginal childbirth in which an episiotomy was performed.
